Everything you need to know about privacy, usage terms, and getting help with Water — in one straightforward place.

Your hydration data stays on your device.

Water is designed to work without an account or external backend. We do not collect, sell, rent, or share your personal information.

Information stored on your device

The app may store the profile details and preferences you choose to provide, including your name, weight, activity level, hydration goal, drink entries, reminder schedule, and app settings. This information is stored locally on your iPhone and is used only to provide the app’s features.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Water asks for permission to send local notifications. Reminder schedules are created on your device. You can change or revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Water does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics. We do not use cookies or tracking technologies on this page.

Data export and deletion

If you export hydration history, the app creates a file that you control through the iOS share sheet. You can delete app data using the controls available in Water or by removing the app from your device. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data, subject to normal iOS backup behavior and settings controlled by you.

Children’s privacy

Water is a general wellness utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app’s features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will identify the latest version.

By downloading or using Water, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Purpose of the app

Water helps you record drinks, set hydration goals, review progress, and schedule reminders. The app is provided for general wellness and informational purposes only.

Not medical advice

Water is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. Suggested hydration goals are estimates and may not be appropriate for every person. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about medical conditions, fluid restrictions, pregnancy, medication, or individual hydration needs.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the information you enter, the goals and reminders you choose, and how you use the app. Do not rely on a notification or estimate when urgent medical attention may be needed.

Acceptable use

You may use Water for personal, lawful purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt the app, reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits, or use it in a way that infringes another person’s rights.

Availability and warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free calculations, or compatibility with every device or future iOS version.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AdaComp will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use Water. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and termination

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may also update these terms, with the effective date identifying the current version. You may stop using Water at any time by deleting the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country or region.

For app issues, feedback, accessibility questions, or feature requests, email the Water support team. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened when relevant. Please do not send medical information or other sensitive data.
